I am often asked about Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) programs, the “Breadman”, stock-to-dock, Bin-Filler and others. These are pretty much all alike with some twist and exceptions to each one but to summerize them, here is an example of VMI benefits for the customer
+ Obsolete inventory is eliminated and replaced with standard MRO or production products.
+ A minimum – maximum inventory level is set for each fastener or item by it MRO or production…
