According to China Customs, China’s steel, iron or copper standard fastener exports for the first six months of 2011 jumped 41.5 percent to $2.2 billion with the export volume up 22.2 percent to 1.25 million tons and the average price up 15.8 percent to $1761/ton. Steel, iron or copper standard fastener export in June increased 27.6 percent to $425 million with export volume up 12.0 percent to 238, 000 tons.
