The sales tax department of the Chandigarh Administration on Thursday discreetly raided around 20 industrial units till late in the night, and seized their documents to examine details. Significantly, industrialists have expressed their resentment at such a sudden raid, and told the authorities that as industrial units are already suffering losses and are in a precarious condition, such steps would ruin them completely.
