LTI will be showcasing its fastener testing capabilities, as well as dimensional inspection and failure analysis services at the NIFMS Expo in Las Vegas this October 25-27, 2016 in Booth #936 at the Sands Expo and Convention Center.
HATFIELD, Pa. – Oct. 17, 2016 – PRLog — Laboratory Testing Inc. (LTI), an independent metal testing laboratory, will again be showcasing its broad range of fastener testing, dimensional inspection and failure analysis capabilities at the National Industrial Fastener and Mill Supply Expo (NIFMSE). The lab offers extensive testing services for all types of fasteners, including metallurgical, mechanical, nondestructive and salt spray testing, chemistry, dimensional inspection and more. Visit LTI in Booth #936 at the Sands Expo and Convention Center in Las Vegas, NV on October 25 – 27, 2016.Fastener testing from LTI is Nadcap and A2LA accredited and performed by engineers, chemists and technicians according to ASTM, NASM and other specification requirements. Lab Testing supports manufacturers and suppliers in the aerospace, defense, construction, automotive and other industries with testing services to ensure the safety and reliability of their fasteners. These tests assess material structure and composition, verify mechanical properties and corrosion resistance, and detect flaws and defects. Although the lab specializes in metals, some testing is also offered for polymeric materials.
Dimensional inspection is performed in accordance with NAS, MS and ANSI specifications to ensure measurement accuracy of fastener features, including internal and external fastener threads. LTI provides CMM, Smartscope and conventional inspection methods using measuring hand tools to perform first article and third-party inspection services. All instrumentation used in the dimensional metrology lab is traceable to NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology).
Recognized as North America’s largest industrial and specialty fastener tooling event, NIFMSE brings together the manufacturers and distributors of fasteners, precision formed parts, fastener machinery and tooling, and other related products and services with representatives of the distribution chain. For over 30 years, the event has been showcasing fasteners for use by a wide-range of industries. This year, there will be over 600 companies from around the world exhibiting at the Expo. Over 2,000 attendees from more than 30 countries are expected to be looking for new products and suppliers, as well as a multitude of manufacturing and fastener applications.
