ROCHESTER HILLS, Mich., Jan. 26, 2011 /PRNewswire/ — A Raymond Tinnerman, a leading global supplier of automotive fastening, is expanding its manufacturing operations in Kentucky.
The company plans to add more than 25 new jobs and invest approximately $500,000 at its facility in Flemingsburg, Ky., according to David J. Nenno, president and CEO of A Raymond Corporate North America, the firm’s U.S.-based holding company.
Nenno said that the company is increasing its customer base outside of the automotive sector and expects to add products for the solar-energy and building industries at the Flemingsburg plant. The facility currently produces window-channel guides, sunroof components and structural parts for the auto industry.
Plant Manager Bill Breeze noted that the company recently celebrated its 50th anniversary as a corporate citizen inFlemingsburg. The plant has been expanded four times since opening.
Kentucky Governor Steve Beshear, local government officials and A Raymond Tinnerman executives announced the expansion program at a press conference at the plant. The company has received approval from the Kentucky Economic Development Finance Authority for tax incentives of up to $515,000 to offset its investment in the expansion project.
