B/E Aerospace Inc., Wellington, FL, reported sales for the third quarter of $888.1 million, an increase of 15.8 percent compared to the same period a year ago. Profit quadrupled to $92.7 million, compared to a year-ago profit of $18.5 million.
Commercial aircraft sales increased 18.4 percent to $456.6 million. Operating earnings increased 22.4 percent from the prior year to $82.4 million. (…)
