Rick Hillman spent 43 years at The Hillman Group Inc., helping the company become a leading provider of fasteners, keys, property numbers and signs with projected revenues of $550 million this year and 1,900 employees worldwide.
Friday, the 63-year-old Hillman retired from the Springfield Township-based hardware distributor founded by his father in 1964. Next up: playing more golf and spending time with wife Gayle at their condo in Vanderbilt Beach, Fla.
“For 43 years I came in early and stayed late,” he says. “I enjoyed every day.”
