On November, 2015, ASTM F16 Committee on fasteners decided to withdraw 6 standards for structual fasteners, including A325, A325M, A490, A490M, F1852 and F2280, replacing these standards with other kinds of standards. To be specific, please view the following:
“Withdrawal of F2280-14 Standard Specification for “Twist Off” Type Tension Control Structural Bolt/Nut/Washer Assemblies, Steel, Heat Treated, 150 ksi Minimum Tensile Strength
To be replaced by F3125/F3125M-2015A Standard Specification For High Strength Structural Bolts, Steel and Alloy Steel, Heat Treated, 120 ksi (830 MPa) and 150 ksi (1040 MPa) Minimum Tensile Strength, Inch and Metric Dimensions.
