B/E Aerospace Inc.’s BEAV +2.16% fourth-quarter earnings rose 31% as all of the aircraft-products maker’s segments booked double-digit revenue increases.The company also raised its 2013 earnings estimate by seven cents to about $3.45 a share and backed its revenue guidance.
B/E Aerospace, which makes cabin equipment ranging from fasteners to cooking equipment, has generally seen increased earnings over the past two years as demand for new aircraft helped to offset weaker after-market demand. The company had predicted a strong 2012 as its order backlog benefited from a rise in global passenger travel and growing deliveries of wide-body aircraft.
