The National Industrial Fastener & Mill Supply Expo/East, April 26-27, 2011 at the Greater Columbus Convention Center, Columbus, Ohio is offering an all-day Conference program on Tuesday, April 26th.

Programs include “Understanding the Bolted Joint” and a Fastener Technology Workshop being presented by the Fastener Training Institute. Both programs run from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Rob Lucas of Fidelis Fasteners, Ltd. Is presenting a free program on “Current Market Overview; Domestic and Overseas” from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Metric Fastener Corporation is hosting a tour of their new, 60,000 sq. ft. Columbus warehouse from 2:00 p.m. to 4:30 P.m. This event is open to the first 50 qualified distributors who register. Roundtrip transportation is being provided from the Greater Columbus Convention Center and complimentary refreshments sponsored by MFC will be served following the tour.

Women in the Fastener Industry (WIFI) are having a meeting from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. All interested fastener women are invited. There is no charge. The always popular Welcoming Reception will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. with complimentary hors d’ oeuvres and beverages sponsored by Show Management. This event is open free-of-charge to all Expo exhibitors and visitors wearing a badge.
