More installers are becoming aware of fastener manufacturer Easyhold Fastener Systems’ products, enabling the company to increase production by 100% over the past two years, owner Clynton de Fin tells Engineering News.

The fasteners are manufactured from nylon and are, therefore, tough and noncorrosive.

“We began with one size but, as demand increased, we started manufacturing different sizes. There are now four sizes, ranging from 5 mm to 100 mm in diameter,” he says.

The installation is fairly simple: the required size hole is drilled in the position where the cable or pipe is to be fixed. Thereafter, the installer hammers in the plug, places the cable or pipe on the plug head and secures the correct cable tie. (…)
