After the second running success of Fastener Fair Brasil 2012, the show will once again take place from 11 – 13 November 2014 at the Expo Centre Norte in São Paulo, Brazil.The previous show held in November 2012 welcomed 2,500 highly professional and specialised visitors from 25 countries worldwide. Visitors met with industry experts and discovered a wide variety of new and enhanced fastener and fixings solutions. A total of 141 exhibitors from 17 countries showcased a comprehensive range of industrial fasteners, construction fixings, assembly and installation systems as well as manufacturing technology.
Survey results from this exhibition revealed that the majority of exhibitors were extremely satisfied with their participation at Fastener Fair Brasil 2012. They achieved their aims and visitors who attended the show had decision-making capacity; namely owners, directors and buyers.
The Brazilian economy has been a contributing factor to the success Fastener Fair Brasil. Over the last decade, Brazil has turned into a great economic success with record levels of foreign investment, a booming middle class and a strong domestic market. The most important industries in Brazil include chemical, iron ore, steel, aircraft, motor vehicles and parts, machinery and equipment and construction. Industrial production has grown to 8.4% in April 2013, representing the strongest gain in the past three years. Furthermore the economic activity in Brazil has increased to 7.3% in April 2013. The GDP is expected to grow a further 3.1% in 2013 with a further increase to 3.4% for 2014.
