The El Camino College Center for Applied Competitive Technologies CACT and the Industrial Fasteners Institute IFI sponsored an Aerospace Fastener career fair at the El Camino College Compton Educational Center. Representatives from several aerospace companies looking to hire students for entry-level jobs were present to interview students.
“The Aerospace Fastener program has had various requests from different employers seeking to hire students,” said David Gonzales, Director of CACT. “This is a great opportunity for students to start a career in manufacturing. We’ve not only seen a resurgence in manufacturing jobs, but employers now want new workers to come in already skilled and ready to work immediately. New employees must be able to hit the floor running.”…
