Easy Street. Fastenal opened its doors on January 03, 2011, the new location is a one-stop supply source for area manufacturers, contractors, and other industrial businesses. Fastenal sells nearly one million industrial and construction products (including 410,000 different types of fasteners) spanning 17 product lines.
Managed by Eddie Aviles, the new store will be open from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. In addition to a broad, locally tailored product mix, the store will offer local deliveries, outside sales support, and services ranging from vendor-managed inventory programs to custom manufacturing of specialty or hard to source parts.
The Simi Valley location is the latest of more than 2,300 Fastenal stores spanning North America. Backed by 14 regional distribution centers and a company-owned truck fleet, each store has the freedom to customize its inventory and service to meet the needs of local customers.
