The Fastenal store on the South Loop is a place that’s a familiar sight to a lot of folks, but maybe not one with which many people are knowledgeable at all in terms of what goes on there.
From the name, it’s a short leap to assume the only things being sold there are fasteners. And it’s not a much bigger leap to assume it’s one of those industrial wholesale places that sell only large lots to licensed contractors who have the names of their companies displayed on the side of their trucks.
