Article by · 2018/10/08 ·

This year, on 28 and 29 November 2018, Paris Expo (Porte de Versailles) will be the venue for the first French edition of FASTENER FAIR, a one-of-a-kind international event dedicated to fastener and fixing technologies. Currently, more than 150 exhibitors from 15 countries worldwide have already reserved their stands. Exhibitors include a number of major French groups and SMEs, as well as a large contingent of stakeholders from Italy, Germany, Spain and Turkey.

FASTENER FAIR is a series of fairs hosted in 6 countries (Germany, Italy, Turkey, the United States, Mexico, and India). Each one of the events contributes to developing the international reputation of the others.

For this year’s event, stakeholders in the screws, bolts and fastening-systems market will be gathering for the first time in Paris, a city that is conducive to international trade. Over the course of two days, they will be afforded a unique opportunity to meet, discover globally significant innovations, and above all, forge new business relationships.

A unique event in France, relevant to a wide range of industrial sectors

FASTENER FAIR FRANCE will bring together manufacturers, distributors, suppliers, and end users of fastening and fixing systems. The exhibition is aimed primarily at industrial stakeholders that require assembly and installation systems, fastener-manufacturing technologies, and logistics and storage equipment.

FASTENER FAIR covers needs across an extraordinarily wide range of sectors, be it construction, car manufacturing, aerospace, marine, electric and electronic equipment, civil engineering, energy, communications technologies, metal products, furniture manufacturing, plumbing and sanitary equipment, or installation services, to name a few.

What exhibitors have to say Why they attend the event

The Gardette Group is a French, family-run group with 5 production sites, including Gardette Industrie – recognised for its expertise in manufacturing keys and key bars – and La Goupille Cannelée, a globally recognised manufacturer of pins and inserts.

The Group has been a regular Fastener Fair exhibitor since 2010, successfully promoting its products at events in Budapest, Stuttgart, Hanover, Istanbul, and Cleveland.

“It is a unique event, which provides an opportunity to meet with our regular and potential international customers in the fastening market. As a French manufacturer, we owe it to ourselves to attend this 1st edition in Paris ».

Carlo Salvi

Carlo Salvi was established in 1939 in Milan and is now a leading global manufacturer of heading equipment developed for cold and warm forming of screw blanks, screws and rivets, and complex solid, semi- and fully tubular parts.

“Carlo Salvi has already exhibited at Fastener Fair events in Italy and Germany, and the experience has always been enormously successful for us. What is important for us is that the event is aimed at our specific market. And since we have a number of customers in France, a fair in Paris would be an excellent opportunity to meet them”.

The ARaymond Network is a 150 year old, family-run business that develops, manufactures, and markets fastening and assembly solutions.

“As a fastener and assembly-solutions manufacturer, we attend FASTENER FAIR because it is dedicated to our business and area of expertise. We have exhibited at Fastener Fair Stuttgart on several occasions, where we aim our solutions at the industrial manufacturing, car manufacturing, and construction markets. Last year, our Italian subsidiary attended the Fastener Fair event in Italy. For this first French edition, we will be attending as a French manufacturer with a view to consolidating and expanding our network of partners, and highlighting the positioning of our offering, namely standard products, development of customised products, innovation, and services”.

Nedschroef is a global engineering and manufacturing partner specialising in critical fasteners, components and machines used across a wide range of industries, including the automotive and aviation industries.

“The French market is our second largest market in Europe. Exhibiting at Fastener Fair France is a unique opportunity to meet our existing and future customers and promote the entire range of products and services that we can offer”.

We want our stand to be warm and friendly, where visitors can interact freely with a multifaceted team composed of travelling and office-based sales staff, and personnel from our export and marketing departments. To showcase our ranges of decking screws and marine hardware accessories, we will be using display equipment that has been designed specifically for this event”.
