Building on a successful first edition and benefiting from the strong market growth in key industry sectors such as construction, infrastructure, automotive and mechanical engineering, the second edition of Fastener Fair India, held from 17-18 April 2013 at the Bombay Exhibition Centre in Mumbai has strengthened its position as a renowned business platform for India’s fastener and fixings industry. With 145 exhibitors from eight countries, a net exhibition space of some 1,700 m2 and a total of 4,028 trade visitors, the exhibition was extremely well received with exhibitors and visitors alike.

At this year’s Fastener Fair India, 145 companies showcased a comprehensive range of industrial fasteners and fixings, assembly and installation systems, storage and logistics services, fastener manufacturing technology and construction fixings. The majority of exhibitors were Indian companies. However, almost a third of the exhibitors were from outside India, namely from China, Taiwan, Germany, the UK, Italy, Vietnam and Korea.

In the exhibitor survey, Fastener Fair India 2013 received excellent marks for the overall impression and organisation of the show. The quantity and in particular the expertise of the visitors was highly praised by the exhibiting companies.
