Following continuing strong demand for stand space, the first of the two exhibition halls that will host Fastener Fair Turkey 2016 is already fully booked. Exhibitors are now being assigned stands in a second hall at the IFM – Istanbul Expo Centre, the venue for the event on 30 and 31 March 2016.
This will be the first time that Fastener Fair Turkey has occupied two halls. The introduction of a second hall means that the third of these exhibitions in Istanbul will be an even bigger and better showcase for the latest in fastener and fixing products and systems.
Seven months ahead of opening, Fastener Fair Turkey 2016 has already reached the size of the previous event in 2014. By August, more than 120 companies had confirmed their intention to take part in the show. They include firms from 12 countries – China, Croatia, Denmark, France, Germany, Great-Britain, India, Israel, Italy, Spain, Taiwan and Turkey.
Next year’s show will build on the success of Fastener Fair Turkey 2014, which was visited by some 1,700 managers, engineers and buyers. Half of those were either wholesalers or distributors. Fastener and fixings manufacturers accounted for a further 29%, while around 21% were end-users. The majority of attendees were based in Turkey, but a significant number – 25% – were foreign, representing 47 countries.
