TAIPEI, Taiwan — With its first rendition at the Kaohsiung Exhibition Center, Fastener Taiwan, held once every two years, begins today.
This event ranks as the second largest fastener show in Asia and the third largest in the world. In just two days (April 14-15), it features 350 exhibitors with 850 booths (double the previous number of show booths) to attract an estimated 2,000 overseas visitors. This brief endeavor is expected to generate US$380 million in business.
The show is organized by the Bureau of Foreign Trade, Ministry of Economic Affairs, co-organized by the Kaohsiung City Government and implemented by the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) as well as the Taiwan Industrial Fasteners Institute (TIFI). (…)
