It took one of Pittsburgh’s biggest private equity firms 19 months to do a local deal after raising a $301 million fund in summer 2013. But Incline Equity Partners is making up for that gap with two acquisitions in three months.
Incline on Wednesday confirmed it has acquired Gateway Fasteners Inc. from owner Jay Mangold, who founded the company 32 years ago in Export, about 19 miles east of Pittsburgh. It will be part of Bridgeville-based AFC Dell, bought by Incline in late March, which is led by General Manager Doug Kortyna. Mangold will remain with the company for about a year for a smooth transition.(…)
