West Bromwich-based manufacturer Tentec, which has revenues of about £10m, has been snapped up by a global industrial group.
The business has been acquired by Atlas Copco, one of Sweden’s largest industrial companies.
All 65 staff at Tentec will retain their jobs at the company, which makes bolt-tightening equipment for use in the oil and gas, power generation, wind power and mining industries. It had a turnover of £9.8m in 2012 and a pre-tax profit of £300,000. (…)
