August 5, 2016 – LoneStar Group (http://www.lonestargroup.com/) is pleased to announce the acquisition of AmeriBolt (http://www.ameribolt.com/).AmeriBolt is a successful fastener business founded in 2005 by Dawson Pruett, Mike Jones and Randall Hall. AmeriBolt goes to market exclusively through distribution channels which focus on North American industrial, construction, transportation, waterworks and other manufacturing customers, in addition to midstream/downstream oil & gas markets as well as the petrochemical industry. Based in Sycamore, AL, AmeriBolt has demonstrated strong growth since its founding adding new locations in Houston, TX and Moss Point, MS and have invested in new manufacturing capabilities including forging and heat treatment. AmeriBolt has a total of 160 employees across these three locations.
This is an exciting time for LoneStar Group and AmeriBolt. LoneStar Group’s manufacturing capabilities and customer approvals (AVL’s) combined with AmeriBolt’s commercial relationships and strengths will provide customers with more compelling value propositions and diversified offerings. Dawson and Mike have developed a strong culture at AmeriBolt which has earned loyalty with their distributor customer base and enabled their impressive growth and success in a highly competitive market. The partnering of these two companies points to a dynamic future for all of its employees as well as the fasteners market as a whole.
AmeriBolt will remain a separate entity and will continue trading under the AmeriBolt name. AmeriBolt will continue to be run by the current AmeriBolt senior management team, led by Dawson Pruett, who will report directly to the CEO of LoneStar Group, Santosh Mathilakath. LoneStar Fasteners will continue to be led by Marco Rodriguez. Marco will continue reporting to Santosh.
