On March 31th 2017, SIMAF company in Spain, Astec, has acquired the commercial fasteners business of Prelok Spain.
Astec distributes in Spain the entire SIMAF range of fasteners as well as its own line of products such as quarter-turns, locks and assembly systems intended for the industry.
Prelok also based in Barcelona has an international reputation in the design and distribution of products dedicated to industrial fastening and works 90% in the Automotive sector.
This acquisition will enable SIMAF to increase its presence with European car manufacturers and encourage group momentum among its customers. This momentum and their knowledge will be made available to all Group companies, SIMAF TECHNIK Germany, SIMAF CZ Czech republic, SIMAFix Morocco,SIMAF France, in order to offer a complete range of fasteners products to all their customers.
