The National Industrial Fastener & Mill Supply Expo today announced its endorsement and support of the Fastener Training Institute and its programs.
“We have sponsored educational programs and training seminars at our fastener industry expositions in Columbus, Ohio and Las Vegas, Nevada for nearly 30 years. Our event has also served as a forum for discussion of many vitally important issues such as the Fastener Quality Act, anti-dumping initiatives, trading internationally and many more topics. We believe strongly in the need for more and better fastener education and training. We lag far behind other industries in this regard and see the Fastener Training Institute as an excellent vehicle for accomplishing this. The FTI’s advanced technical training programs such as Automotive Fastener Technology, Fastener Training for Engineers, and the week-long Certified Fastener Specialist course are outstanding”, say Jim Bannister and Mike McGuire, General Partners.
