Wayne Golden 71, chairman of Star Stainless Screw Company, passed away Thursday December 18, 2014. In 1972 Wayne took over as president of Star Stainless Screw, a master distributor of stainless steel fasteners, a business which his father had started. From those early days with only one location, Wayne has built Star into the dominant stainless steel fastener supplier in the industry. In 2007, Wayne retired from Star, leaving the company and industry he loved due to his illness.(…)
