OSHA cites Berea manufacturer for alleged amputation risks – Crain’s Cleveland Business

The U.S. Department of Labor’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration has cited a Berea manufacturer for allegedly putting employees at risk of amputation.

On Jan. 21, OSHA charged Telefast Industries Inc., a subsidiary of Elgin Fastener Group of Brecksville, with four repeated, two serious and two other-than-serious violations, according to a news release. The violations carry proposed penalties of $121,000.
