Supplier of cable ties for the automotive industry Hellermann Tyton has recently purchased a number of BMB 500 tonne all-electric machines, as well as a 700 tonne machine.
Nigel Baker, managing director of BMB Plastics Machinery claims the new BMB 700 tonne all-electric machine is the largest all-electric machine in Europe.
The machine is now in full production and making nylon cable tie a process, which he says, “is extremely demanding due to multi-cavity moulds and high flow length to wall thickness ratio parts”. (…)
