Robert G. Friedman, of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and formerly Tiffin and Perrysburg, passed away peacefully Monday, March 18, 2013, in his home, surrounded by his loving family, including his wife of nearly 65 years, Eugenie S. Friedman, and their five children.Bob celebrated his 90th birthday with his family February 6 of this year, and would have celebrated his 65th wedding anniversary May 1.Bob was nationally known as a composer of “big band” jazz music, achieved the pinnacle of success in business and industry as the president and chief executive officer of The National Machinery Company, Tiffin, and spread the fruits of his success through his and his wife, Genies, philanthropic spirit as embodied in The Robert G.
