SOUTH BEND –
South Bend-based Royal Adhesives & Sealants LLC has announced its second acquisition in less than a month. The company says it has acquired the business assets of Connecticut-based Weld Mount Systems.Weld Mount was previously owned by Associated Technologies LLC. The company develops, manufactures and supplies a unique adhesive fastening system, something Royal Chief Executive Officer Ted Clark says will be a great addition to Royal’s product line.
“Weld Mount’s adhesively-bonded mechanical fastener systems add a new dimension to the broad set of structural adhesive solutions we offer to our global marine, defense, transportation and assembly customers, who are rapidly adopting advanced composites and engineered plastics into their product designs where traditional mechanical fasteners cannot be used,” Clark.
