Simpson Strong-Tie announces the acquisition of the TJ® Shear Brace product line from Weyerhaeuser. The TJ Shear Brace pre-fabricated shear wall complements the Simpson Strong-Tie® Strong-Wall® shear wall product offering and is the only trimmable shear wall on the market for custom heights and rake walls.Simpson Strong-Tie will now handle all sales of the TJ Shear Brace. Weyerhaeuser will continue to distribute the product line in its 22 U.S. markets. Customers can also continue to source the product through current distribution in Canada and outside of Weyerhaeuser Distribution markets. (…)
