The St. Clair City Council voted unanimously to give a six-year, 50 percent tax break to the Norma Group, which specializes in manufacturing fluid quick-connect fitting assemblies, on equipment purchases of nearly $5 million dollars.
The council granted the tax break on June 17 in accordance with Michigan Public Act 198 of 1974, which is intended to spur industrial development in the state. (…)
