A Lakewood company and union employees have settled their labor differences, leading the company to drop a lawsuit alleging that employees refused to work overtime.
A federal judge dismissed the suit Monday after The Ferry Cap & Set Screw Co. reached an agreement last week with the International Association of Machinists & Aerospace Workers, the AFL-CIO, District Lodge 54.
Union members had feared that the company’s plan to move equipment to Elyria would threaten their jobs. The agreement with the company gives them job security. (…)
