Indianapolis, Ind.–Würth GroupAcquires Timberline Fasteners

The German based Würth Groupis pleased to announcethe acquisition of Colorado based fastener distributor,Timberline Fasteners, the largest fastener distributor in the RockyMountain Region.WürthTimberline is now apart of the Industry Division as a sister company ofWürthIndustry of North America WINA, one of the largestassembly component distributors in the U.S.The acquisition isthe first step in theWürthGroup’s plans to doubleits Industry presence in the U.S. by the year 2020.

Timberline Fasteners, originally A&I Bolt and Nut, was established in 1923 in downtown Denver, CO. Mostrecently, Timberline’s growth and focus has been in both the VMI/OEM sector as well as the packaged, retailhardware/lumber market. WINA has a strong presencein the Midwest and eastern states, but is limited west of the Mississippi River.Theaddition ofWürthTimberlinewillallow WINA toadvancebusiness into the western part ofthe U.S.,as well asadd profitable sales and market penetration and diversification. “TheWürthGroup is pleased to add such ahigh quality company to its portfolio of companiesin North America.
