The chair of the Taiwan Industrial Fastener Institute envisions the country competing in the higher quality segment of the fastener market – including China’s fastener usage.
Joe Chen wants Taiwan to increase its share of the top quality segment of mainland China’s fastener demand.
China’s fastener production offers limited competition because Taiwan users require higher quality than offered by Chinese, Chen said in a presentation to the Five Regions Fastener Conference. Chen envisioned continued differentiation both between Taiwan’s own fastener companies as they further develop added value propositions and also between Taiwan and its global competitors. (…)
