According to Mr. Bernhard Berrang, President of EFDA, the fastener CN code is likely to be modified. CN code is the product serial number for determining the anti-dumping duties. In the past CN code was very general which resulted in unfavorable determinations on anti-dumping cases. EFDA suggested that it was necessary to subdivide CN code so that Europe and the U.S would respond to those specified items causing harm to their industries’ interests, which could avoid painting every enterprise with the same brush if similar complaints happen again.(…)
