Breda, 9 January 2013Last December, 5 Dutch companies active in the importation of fasteners set up the first ever Dutch industry association. At a meeting in Tilburg that month, NEVIB, the Dutch Association of Importers of Fasteners and Related Industrial Products, was created.
The Association will represent the intrests of the fasteners industry towards the Dutch government in The Hague, and towards the European Union in Brussels. Guiding principle of NEVIB policies is the promotion of free trade.
Given its large annual turnover and several thousand jobs, the Dutch fasteners industry is an important economic business, and a major player in the Dutch construction sector.
NEVIB wil cooperate as much as possible with similar associations in other European countries, and with the overarching European association EFDA, the European Fastener Distributor Association. With NEVIB (…)
