Fasteners from Tacke + Lindemann: Always a safe choice
From closed fasteners to eccentric fasteners through to heavy-duty fasteners – Tacke + Lindemann`s product range offers 300 different fasteners and custom-made designs in all key materials, including high-alloyed premium steel V4A. Since 1899, Tacke + Lindemann offers a professional assortment for metalworking branches, with a main focus on fastener technology. The core of this product range consists of closed fasteners, eccentric fasteners and custom-made fasteners. When flexible, safe, quick and tool-less connections of two work pieces are demanded – those high quality catches are the experts’ choice. For any required application, fitting variations are available: Closed fasteners for insulation, packaging and fastening technologies; with and without spring locks, straight or curved baseplates and hook plates. For heavy-duty use, eccentric fasteners – also with hinges – are the optimal solution in noise insulation, machinery, plant and mechanical engineering and also the maritime sector. For special requirements in car or mold construction, flexible fastening solutions such as strikers are applied. Fasteners for outdoor use underlie high strength requirements: High-alloyed premium steel V4A protects their surface from exposure to aggressive influences like acid and weather. As well, their resilience against vibration and high pulling forces up to 1600 Kp is guaranteed. As important is their protection against unintended opening – by spring lock fasteners, splint protection, padlocks or profile cylinder locks. Taking account of this broad range of requirements, the Tacke + Lindemann assortment offers up to 300 fasteners – from 77 mm (3.03“) up to 277 mm (10.91“) in the materials S235 JRC AR, S355 JR, 1.4301 and 1.4401.

Advanced thread rolling technology
Talleres SASPI SA will be presenting its innovations and advancements of technology in its fastener manufacturing equipment at Fastener Fair Stuttgart. SASPI says that its thread rolling machines are designed to maximise production times and reduce down time for set ups and change over, as well as allowing an operator freedom to manage multiple jobs. The machines are therefore automated and motorised in order to avoid the use of tools as much as possible and increase the efficiency and precision of adjustments. SASPI has recently motorised the die block making it possible to adjust the diameter from a touch screen, saving both manual work and time. Dies and static die blocks are clamped hydraulically and rail opening and height are motorised. The touch screen allows the operator to store jobs into the memory and recall them when required to set up all dimensions. The display can also include an integrated process monitor. Apart from thread rollers SASPI also has a range of other equipment including MPA high-speed shave pointers. Elements of the range can be combined to form complex machines combining thread rolling with pointers, washer assembly units, stud selectors or induction heaters.
