The Schraubenfabrik Schmidt GmbH was founded in 1946 and actually in the 3rd Generation of the Schmidt family. In 2001 a new building for administration was built. On about 3000 m² 20 employees are busy with manufacturing and distribution of various steel bolts, brass, stainless steel (A2-A4), and aluminum, Schraubenfabrik Schmidt GmbH produces more than 300 Mio pcs. each year. 2012 Schraubenfabrik SchmidtGmbH was certified on ISO 9001:2008.
Die Schraubenfabrik Schmidt GmbH wurde 1946 gegründet und befindet sich heute in der 3. Generation der Familie Schmidt. Im Jahre 2001 wurde ein Neubau für Verwaltung neben der 1989 erbauten Produktion bezogen. Auf ca. 3000 m² beschäftigen sich 20 Mitarbeiter mit der Herstellung und dem Vertrieb von verschiedenen Schrauben aus Stahl, Messing, Inox (A2-A4) und Aluminium. Die Produktion umfasst ca. 300 Mio. Schrauben pro Jahr. 2012 wurde die Schraubenfabrik Schmidt GmbH nach ISO 9001:2008 zertifiziert.

The new Machine Andon – called Mandon – is an intelligent messaging system which provides the operator automatically with important information based upon continuous ob-servation of all process data and logical conclusions drawn from that. Whenever there is a need for any kind of intervention, Mandon makes itself known by prompting the respective message on the screen of the load monitor. The know-how for a reliable messaging system is based on a set of pre-programmed rules which incorporates the expert knowledge collected over many years.
