HD-LOK. Each application is unique and requires special attention to give the customer exactly what they require. Our newest development in product satisfies an important need for our Heavy Duty Component customer base. Many of our customers offer extended warranties on critical components such as axles, transmissions and differentials to their customers. Minimizing or eliminating warranty claims due to bearing failure is essential. Failures of the noted components can be expensive in terms of money and time lost on the job site. To help meet our customer’s needs for precise bearing adjustment and retention, we have developed and currently offer our HD-LOK (patent pending). The HD-LOK with an 18 pitch TPI offers an axial tightening adjustment as finite as .000463 inch (.01176 mm) or 3 degrees radially. It is a multi-part locknut consisting of, one locknut, two locking pins, one snap ring, and a heavy duty, precision lock washer. All parts are heat treated to print requirements. Industrial Nut Corp will be showing this HD-LOK at the Fastener Fair in Stuttgart, Germany from February 26-28, 2013.
