Fastener Fair Hannover will take place for the second time from 8-10th April, 2014. The International Exhibition for Fastener and Fixing Technology attracts distributors, suppliers and component buyers with a particular focus also on end users from numerous industrial sectors. The exhibition showcases a broad range of industrial fasteners and fixings, construction fixings, assembly and installation systems and fastener manufacturing technology. Fastener Fair Hanover 2014 takes place at the Hanover Exhibition Grounds, co-located with Hannover Messe.

Half a year prior to the start of the exhibition, 150 exhibitors have already booked 2,500m² of net stand space at Fastener Fair Hannover 2014. As an internationally oriented industry event, the exhibition has acquired a high participation rate from abroad. The exhibitors come from 19 countries. Alongside the numerous European exhibiting companies, mainly from Germany, Italy and Turkey are also several companies from Asia. The previous event welcomed an overall number of 4,500 visitors from 75 countries. Almost half of these visitors were from outside Germany.

Developments such as the application of new materials in engineering, the growing demand of increasingly precise fastening solutions and worldwide availability are challenges that the fastener and fixing industry faces today. The continuous development of new products and technology with improved precision and productivity plays an equally big role as location, know-how and global networking of companies.

“Fastener Fair Hannover is of utmost importance in its function as an extensive technology platform and source of inspiration for the fastener and fixing industry. Distributors, suppliers and component buyers come to Hanover from all over the world in order to meet business partners and establish new contacts. Furthermore, with its additional focus on end users, the trade fair is dedicated to buyers and specialists from important sectors such as the automotive industry, machinery and plant engineering, energy production, electrical engineering and electronics,” explains Susanne Rauberger, Exhibition Director Fastener Fair, on behalf of the organisers, Mack Brooks Exhibitions.

“The co-location of Fastener Fair Hannover with Hannover Messe is therefore an ideal combination for exhibitors as well as visitors. Held in the even years, Fastener Fair Hannover holds a secure place in the calendar of the fastener and fixing industry and has succeeded as a suitable counterpart to the international leading trade fair for this industry sector, Fastener Fair Stuttgart,” states Susanne Rauberger.

In order to make Fastener Fair Hannover ever more attractive to trade visitors, the exhibition organisers are now holding the trade fair in Hall 22 which is closely connected to the halls in which Hannover Messe is taking place. With the entry ticket for Fastener Fair, visitors also have free admission to Hannover Messe and all the other trade fairs that are simultaneously taking place at the Hanover Exhibition Grounds. The use of public transport in Hanover is also included in the ticket price.

A visitor brochure will shortly be published with important information and useful tips for visiting the exhibition. The latest information and a regularly updated exhibitor list is available on the exhibition website: www.fastenerfair.com/hannover.
