Fastener Fair Stuttgart 2013:
Further growth for Europe’s Leading Exhibition for the Fastener and Fixing Industry
After its record result from the previous event, Europe’s leading trade fair for the fastener and fixing industry, Fastener Fair Stuttgart, could again increase the floor space and number of exhibitors. From 26 – 28 February 2013, some 770 exhibitors from 35 countries will present their products and services on a net exhibition space of over 16,000m². Compared to the previous event two years ago, this is a growth of 15% in exhibitor figures and an increase in 28% of floor space. A total of 8,300 trade visitors attended the previous Fastener Fair Stuttgart.
The increasing demand for investment goods and consumer goods in the growth markets, together with the large-scale infrastructure projects in these regions presents the sector with new challenges. For companies today, technical know-how for the continuous development of new products with even higher precision is just as crucial as the global network of the distribution structure.
“Fastener Fair Stuttgart plays a significant role as an international platform for the exchange of information between experts and also as a source of inspiration for future business trends in the sector,” explains Susanne Rauberger, Exhibition Director Fastener Fair Stuttgart, on behalf of the organisers, Mack Brooks Exhibitions. “Here, at Fastener Fair Stuttgart, distributors, suppliers, specifiers and other industry professionals from all over the world come together to make new contacts, do business and build networks worldwide. The further increase in exhibitors and floor space for this year’s exhibition confirms, once again, the great significance of Fastener Fair Stuttgart for this industry sector.”
The percentage of international participation at Fastener Fair Stuttgart 2013 proves that the fastener and fixing industry is a globally oriented industry sector. Three quarters of exhibitors come from outside of Germany, with Italy, Great Britain, Turkey, the Netherlands, Spain, Poland, France and the USA as the most important Western exhibiting countries, after Germany. From Asia, represented exhibitors are mainly from Taiwan, China and India.
Fastener Fair Stuttgart presents new developments from all areas of the fastener and fixing technology. The exhibition comprises industrial fasteners and fixings, construction fixings, assembly and installation systems, fastener manufacturing technology, storage and factory equipment, as well as all associated services.
For visitors, a useful visitor guide has recently been published with general information about the exhibition, an exhibitor list, important information about travel and accommodation as well as details about visiting the trade fair.
Fastener Fair Stuttgart 2013 will occupy halls 4, 6 and 8 of the trade fair grounds in Stuttgart. The Trade Fair Centre in Stuttgart is conveniently located next to the airport and is also easily accessible by car and train.
