In recent years, Haiyan has achieved good result in implementing the provincial-class key project of standardization, of which the standardization project in Fastener Industry emphasized the substitution of traditional acid pickling technique in the line. By trial and error, it was successfully developed a complete set of acid-free wire-drawing equipments. The pilot fastener enterprise—Zhejiang East Fasteners Co., Ltd. had their usage of acid chemicals reduced from 58 tons to 30 tons and the sewage charge reduced from 6,345 tons to 3,638 tons, which was 43% decreased.
