Land Rover recalls SUVs that can suddenly go out of control from bad lower control arm fasteners.
By David A. Wood, CarComplaints.com Posted in RecallsJanuary 3, 2017 — Jaguar Land Rover is recalling 220 model year 2016-2017 Land Rover Discovery Sport and Range Rover Evoque SUVs to keep them from going out of control on the roads.
Land Rover says the front lower control arm fasteners can fail due to problems that occurred during assembly. A bad fastener can cause a separation of the steering knuckle and leave the driver trying to handle a vehicle that shouldn’t be on the road. (…)
