Dr. Ingo André Klüppel became the new Team Leader Electroplating at Dörken MKS-Systeme GmbH & Co. KG, Herdecke on 01 January 2013.
Following studies in Chemistry at Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf and a subsequent PhD at the Max-Planck-Institut für Eisenforschung in Düsseldorf and the Dortmunder OberflächenCentrum
(DOC®) of ThyssenKrupp Steel Europe AG he was most recently involved with the coil coating development of DOC®, one of the world’s leading and most modern research establishments in the field of surface coating and finishing. Principal task of the new Team Leader is the establishment of the new “green electroplating” field and the further development of the Delta-Prozinc® electroplating system.
To achieve this goal the electroplating technology centre opened at the end of September 2011 was expanded further and allocated increased numbers of staff. “Naturally, these are ideal conditions for my new field of tasks,” says Dr. Ingo André Klüppel. “And I am also looking forward to working in a motivated team to develop and expand the new field of ‘green electroplating’.”
