On April 12, Bay Fastening Systems reacts to the start of construction on the LA Metro Expo Line Bridge in Culver City, CA.
Construction of a bridge connecting two phases of the new LA Metro Expo public transportation rail line has begun, according to an article published by Southern California Public Radio. According to Exposition Metro Line Construction Authority CEO Rick Thorpe, work on the bridge will be completed by the end of the year. The full LA Metro Expo rail line, which extends 15.2 miles, is expected to be completed in 2016. The new bridge will serve to combine two sections of the Expo line. By 2030, the Metro Line Construction Authority expects 64,000 daily Expo line riders. Currently, the partially completed Expo line is already averaging nearly 26,000 daily riders. (…)
