PSM International has introduced a patented lightweight insert for molded thermoplastic applications.
The PSM Tri-Step Insert offers automotive OEM’s several advantages over the brass and steel inserts currently used in cam covers, air intake manifolds, and other applications. The Tri-Step Insert is manufactured from aluminum, which is lead-free and offers significant weight savings – around one-third the weight of brass and steel inserts.
