Around 1280 Suzuki Jimny SUVs are being recalled, with fears a steering bolt may become lose.
Suzuki says the joint fastening between the lateral rod and the axle housing may become defective, and the fastening bolt from the joint may become loose, causing the steering wheel to vibrate.
In a worst case scenario the bolt may drop off, compromising steering function. Affected models were built between May 2012 and March 2014, although only ‘selected’ VINs are being recalled.
Mitsubishi is recalling selected vehicles from its ASX SUV and Mirage sub-light car range.
A limited range of ASX VINs are being recalled with both petrol and diesel engines, due to a potential keyless operating system malfunction.
In an extreme case, the vehicle may stall while underway, as the system fails to recognise the correct key.(…)
