In gearing up for 2011 residential construction, Simpson Strong-Tie unveiled several new structural products at the 67th annual International Builders’ Show in Orlando, January 12-15, 2011.

New Product Line Up for 2011:

CTS218 Compression and Tension Strap
As the first strap by Simpson Strong-Tie to handle both compression and tension, the CTS is designed to repair wood members, such as top plates, studs and trusses. A unique rolled-edge design allows the CTS strap to span gaps as wide as 4 ½” while still fitting on the narrow face of 2x lumber.

THJM Multiple Truss Hip Jack Hanger
Available in four- and five-seat versions, the new THJM truss hanger provides an innovative method to carry radial-end jack framing without a welded hanger. The THJM hanger is designed to simplify the construction of multi-plane, angled bay roofs over dining nooks and library alcoves.
