U.S. fastener imports and exports fell in May for the second straight month.
U.S. fastener exports of iron and steel fasteners (HTS Code: 7318) declined 1% to $327.6 million in May, according to Zepol data analyzed by GlobalFastenerNews.com.
The top five consumers of U.S. fastener exports in May were Mexico (up 0.9% month-to-month to $112.4 million); Canada (down 5.2% to $85.9 million); China (up 12.1% to $17.6 million); the UK (up 3.8% to $13.7 million); and Germany (down 1% to $9.3 million). (…)
