Yardley Products, a manufacturer of precision engineered threaded metal inserts for a wide range of fastening applications, provides custom solutions for a broad range of industries. Recently, Yardley was approached by Greg Benson, CEO of Loll Designs, a world-wide leader in recycled outdoor furniture manufactured in the USA with a focus on sustainable manufacturing practices, with a custom inquiry for an insert.
Loll DESIGNS was searching for a solution for inserts that could be used in assembling furniture that would not split the building material upon insertion. “This was a unique inquiry, in part because Loll DESIGNS had firm guidelines for the quality and manufacturing process of their products, and also because Loll furniture is designed so that it requires no seasonal storage or maintenance,” says Yardley’s Vice President Ken Grady.
